A letter from a Staff Member

Dear Directors of Camp Pardas Chanah,

Before I decided to attend camp this summer, lots of questions went through my mind.
What will my summer be like? Will I be able to attend to my every campers needs?Do I have what it takes to be a fantastic counselors? Am I a role model for Lubavitcher, chassidishe campers? What will the atmosphere at camp be like? DoesCamp Pardas Chanah have a warm, and kind environment? Will I feel supported in my work as a counselor? Will I feel appreciated for my efforts? These and more questions swirled through my mind as I walked off the bus and into camp.

My doubts and questions were immediately alleviated as I walked into camp. The warm welcome I received, the care and attention to detail really made me feel comfortable. I immediately felt at home and happily felt like I made the right choice. As the days flew by and the work got tougher I just felt happier!! This is the place for me. A place where I feel like I am part of a family, a place where every person is a “someone”, a place where the support I needed I received.... this is the place for me. Pardas Chanah really feels like home. Thanks for giving me the privilege of being a staff member at camp. Not only have my campers gained begashmius and b'ruchnius... I have too! I feel today a stronger chossid and a stronger person.
Thank you for giving me this experience! I believe it will stay with me for life.
